Here are some of Chris Osgood's NHL accolades

-Finished tenth in voting for Vezina Trophy (1994-95).
-Shared William M. Jennings trophy (1995-96).
-Named to NHL Second All-Star team (1995-96).
-Finished second in voting for Vezina Trophy (1995-96).
- Named to play in National Hockey League All-Star Game; replaced due to injury (1997).
-Member of Stanley Cup champion Detroit Red Wings (1997).
-Member of Stanley Cup champion Detroit Red Wings (1998).
-Holds Detroit Red Wings all-time record for lowest goals-against average (2.40).
-Scored a goal against Hartford Whalers (March 6, 1996)
-Has around 350 wins, and is reaching for 400

These are all H.O.F stats, so why doesn't "The Wizard of Oz" get talked about all too often? Because he's generally a bland guy, who still wears an old style helmet, has slipped under the shadows of good goalies like Manny Legace and Dominik Hasek in recent years, and the media would rather give the spotlight to young players like Sidney Crosby than to a hard working veteran like Chris Osgood...but it's time to put Ozzie back into the spotlight! So vote him to this years NHL All-Star game!
